India’s delegation organizer and CII President Shobana Kamineni stated, “Projects such as the ‘Green Corridor’ between India and Russia to promote trade facilitation and the International North South Transport Corridor need to be expedited.” To achieve this goal, Make-in-India-related achievements were showcased, highlighting opportunities for potential partners from abroad.

Ramesh Abhishek, Secretary of the Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion (DIPP) said, “A dedicated cell would be set up within Invest India to promote Russian investment in India.”

Chandrajit Banerjee, Director General of CII, discussed knowledge and technology-based sectors as another way for Russia and India to work together.
