Brazil celebrates strategic and economic relations with India

The Indian Embassy hosted a Republic Day Reception at Belo Horizonte on Jan. 28 as part of the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav celebration.

Addressing the guests, B.C. Pradhan, interim ambassador of India in Brazil, underlined the evolution of the India-Brazil strategic relationship and the future growth prospects in India-Brazil economic relations.

The guest list included representatives of the India-Brazil Chamber of Commerce and members of the Indian diaspora in Brazil.

The Indian Embassy in Brasilia also organized a 'Surya Namaskar' event to popularize the '#750millionSuryaNamaskar' initiative as part of the celebration. Tadeus Martins, an eminent yoga teacher, led the Surya namaskar and meditation event.
