Indian High Commissioner to New Zealand Muktesh K. Pardeshi moves to better bilateral and human ties between India and New Zealand.

Pardeshi launched an e-directory and a handbook to bond the members of the Indian diaspora even more with each other and open opportunities for Indian exporters, respectively.

The e-directory is a forum that shall lead to diaspora members establishing interpersonal links. It comprises a broad list of dance/music schools, sociocultural associations, language schools, multilingual ethnic media, and places of worship.

The 73rd Republic Day also witnessed the launching of a handbook titled “Exporting to New Zealand,” courtesy High Commission of India and Duco Consultancy. It would open a plethora of opportunities for the Indian exporter and give him a better insight into the New Zealand market by providing the necessary guidance.

Apart from the Indian High Commissioner, the other VIPs were members of the Indian community and friends of India. The patriotic fever struck all as they watched a variety of cultural performances.

Also, on Republic Day, as a part of the iconic AKAM week celebrations, High Commissioner Pardeshi launched a booklet titled “101 Maori Proverbs” as a part of the strategy that emphasized the commonalities between the two cultures.
