High Commissioner Gopal Baglay visits Gandhi statue in Batticaloa

Govindan Karunakaran, Member of the Sri Lankan parliament, and Thiyagarajah Saravanapavan, Mayor of Batticaloa, joined the high commissioner on the occasion.

Gopal Baglay, The High Commissioner of India to Sri Lanka, visited the Gandhi statue in Batticaloa.

His visit was to commemorate the birth anniversary of Gandhi.

The high commissioner offered floral tributes to the statue.
