Finnish parliament speaker hails the Indian community in Finland

“Indian community in Finland truly makes a positive impact on the development of our country in so many ways, and we are grateful for that,” said the parliament speaker of Finland.

Finnish parliament speaker Matti Vanhanen hailed the Indian community in Finland in his message on Indian independence day. “Indian community in Finland truly makes a positive impact on the development of our country in so many ways, and we are grateful for that,” he said.

The Embassy of India in Finland held a week-long celebration of the 75 years of Indian Independence.

Ambassador Raveesh Kumar started the Independence Day festivities by unfurling the national flag at the Embassy premises in Helsinki.

There was a performance by the popular Sargam Band and a flute performance by Sudhir Arudikkalam.
