President of Guyana compliments India’s effort as an ally nation

Guyanese President Mohamed Irfaan Ali commended the Indian government’s efforts that helped his country begin the COVID-19 Vaccination program when many nations were still trying to get access to vaccines. He was speaking at the Indian Republic Day reception hosted by High Commissioner K.J. Srinivas.

President Ali, Vice President Bharrat Jagdeo, and other government officials attended the reception in Georgetown, Guyana.

The High Commissioner highlighted India’s efforts to give developmental grants to Guyana and associate education and training in his speech.

Riverside Angels Dance Group performed The Amerindian traditional dance at the event.

Fusion dances by the National Dance Company and Bollywood dances by Berbice Dance Group were also part of the attraction.
