In Mexico, Indian Embassy holds virtual Republic Day celebration

The Indian Embassy in Mexico celebrated Republic Day via virtual medium due to the ongoing COVID-19 related restrictions.

Interim Ambassador and Charge d'Affaires, Juhi Rai unfurled the national flag at the Gurudev Tagore Indian Cultural center, Mexico City.

The Embassy posted video clips of people doing Surya Namaskar on its social media page promoting the ongoing '750 million Surya Namaskar' challenge.

Yoga sessions were held at Guanajuato's Museum of Alhóndigas.

The Indian Embassy and the Indian Council of Cultural Research (ICCR) curated three exhibitions in the Mexican capital to trigger the spirit of festivity.

The center of the attraction of the exhibition was Indian saris. The three shows collaborated with the Handloom Export Promotion Council, Lalit Kala Academy, and the ICCR.
